Head Chef

As an organised and ambitious Head Chef you will be a leader, a coach and a mentor. You will work systematically and have an avid eye for detail, whether that be in dish execution or hygiene standards. We have high expectations for your ability to form your team, motivating them to perform consistently at a high standard for our customers.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the following:
  • Having overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen
  • Controlling and directing the food preparation process
  • Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer
  • Managing, training and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
  • Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality
  • Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
  • Having ultimate responsibility for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines

Required Skills
The successful candidate has the following skills in order to successfully handle the job:
  • At least 2 years in a similar environment as Head Chef/Chef Manager
  • Solid people management skills, ability to set clear objectives, motivate and monitor progress
  • Able to negotiate, influence, organise time and prioritise activities
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent understanding of relevant laws

Bar Staff

We are looking for Full Time Bar staff experienced in customer service, to join our progressive and motivated team. You will be an enthusiastic bar person who shares our passion for great service. You will be a highly valued and crucial part of the front of house team being the face of our brand, ensuring that our customers have an exceptional experience every time.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the following:
  • Taking customer orders
  • Preparing and serving drinks to customers
  • Maintaining a clean and fully stocked bar at all times
  • Where required, assisting waiting staff with removing used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables, delivering food and drink to customers, and preparing bills and delivering them to customers
  • Processing cash and credit card payments and returning change to customers if necessary
  • Maintaining familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information
  • Meeting with managers and waiting staff regularly in order to learn about menu changes and specials as well as discuss upcoming reservations

Required Skills
The successful candidate has the following skills in order to successfully handle the job:

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming customers when they arrive Introducing customers to the menu and announcing daily or seasonal menu specials as appropriate
